Riders must be confident riding standing up and be able to ride the lower section of the Haggerston track on their own. First sessions are free, and our coaches will advise if they feel a rider isn't ready for the session.
All sessions are now booked in advance. Please see our Sessions page for information on how to do this.
Please also read the information below before attending...
Our beginner session runs on a Sunday from 09:30 to 11:00. We start the sessions at the shed to the south of the tennis courts in Haggerston Park.
Under 18’s need to have an adult in attendance to fill in a consent form before riding.
Please arrive 15 mins before the session, to give yourself time to sign in and get kitted up.
We have race bikes, full face helmets, pads and gloves that can all be borrowed.
Long shirts and trousers required.
The first session is free, then it’s £4 a session (£3 for members). We are sometimes very busy and the bikes are lent out on a first come first served basis.
Our home page and our Facebook page will be updated with session information, where you can check before you attend, to verify the session will take place. Sessions are sometimes cancelled if there is extreme weather, or we are away racing.
Hopefully we’ll see you at the track soon.
